song help from johnny budz mixshow last night

i heard this song in his mix last night. i never heard it, but it was PHAT. sounded like an old miami freestyle jam. it goes like this

"you and me, we belong together, can't seem to find no one better"

anybody know who sings it ?

I didnt hear the show but can tell you that it's Secret Society "WE Belong Together" 1991 out of Miami, Fl....

Also, they sing "Find Yourself" which sounds somewhat similiar and real good too.....

actually that track "WE BELONG TOGETHER" was from 1988...it went all the way to number #1 on power 96 in miami in 1989. Secret Society was one of miami's hottest acts back in the day...they ruled power 96 with their hits like "why did u run away","find yourself", "to blind to see", "you said you loved me", "touch me"and "love is not forever"......i think the lead singer rudy gill is coming back with some new material, can't wait to hear that!

the original sleeve has a picture of the band standing by a train. they were on another label before vision but I can't remember the name now....i have my 12's back home in miami, I have to check that out when I go back

BBOY, yeah ....I did some checking and it came out originally on Miami Moon records, the one you must have. Damn, another record to search for now!! lol
