Somebody please help me with these 2 songs!*

What's going on guys?? I have no clue who sings these two songs. The first one is by a female and goes:
"Sweetheart, we can share a storybook romance...
won't you be my sweetheart...we can share a storybook romance"....I don't really know the words..that's the chorus.
The second song is by a guy:
"Whoaa aaa..if you can see what i'm saying...whenever you're by my side...
whoaa aaa..you would see what i'm feeling..i'm in love it's in my eyes.."
That's also the chorus...it starts..
"Lonely nights, i think of you, dreamin' of you in my arms tight...loving you through the night/my love's for you to have an hold/..."

I've been trying to figure it out...

Thanx for the first one Pete J. Nujerz I know sweetheart is sung by mariah carey but there is another version..the original freestyle version that came out in the late 80's early 90's that's NOT mariah. Another girl sings it...
