Hey everyone...
So yeah, I couldn't stay away from posting anymore...I had such an incredible time at the Copa on Sunday night- the crowd was by the far the biggest, most receptive crowd I've ever had the opportunity to play for. There was so much love in that room tonight I just had to personally thank everyone for making the night so wonderful for me. I had no idea everyone loved "girl i'll house you" so much LOL.
Special thanks to my Copacabana partner in crime, Mickey Garcia, with whom I am always more than happy to share a DJ booth/sweatbox with...Sal Abbatiello for allowing me to headline these wonderful events...Cynthia and Lisette Melendez- who made me so proud performing "I Can't Change Your Mind" for the first time. I am so happy to have been able to be the person to break that song on NY radio. Judy Torres, one of the few who can bust my balls live on the radio and get away with it.
The biggest thanks goes to everyone in the crowd who cheered, screamed, danced and threw their hands up in the air- in all my years of doing these shows, I have never been more proud or honored to be where I am in this community
Next Sunday, June 5th, on KTU- listen for the world premiere of the new Nu Image track, as well as more LisCyn (multi edits!) and brand new Rockell- as well as all your favorite old school classics from Information Society, TKA, Judy Torres and Noel as well as some underground classics you wont hear anywhere else- from Double Destiny, Jasmin, Paul Parker and Fascination!
