i swear they should cut child support. shit aint fair. even if a guy is paying they still lock em up cuz of money hungry ho's that want more. shit like this make me wanna become president or something and STOP all child support.
 
Yeah I Agree...guys Always Get Screwed When It Comes To C/s....i Know Some Of My Friends Don't Even Get To See Their Kids, But Are Like Paying Over 300$ Just So Their Ex Can Blow It On Freakin' Crap...like Clothes And Shoes...or Getting Their Damn Nail Done...it's A Bunch Of Bs.
 
well i agree and disagree.. yea i think it's wrong if someone gets locked up and they are paying and also the women that are spending the money on themselves and not the baby that shiat gets me tight, but to stop child support is just wrong, if the "couple" breaks up the man has every right to pay child support for his baby, and if the mother doesn't let him see the kid take her azz to court!

I am glad you agree with me sweetheart.. cause when i read stop all child support i was like woah ok lol cause i am a single mother myself so i know how it is.. but i do hear stories of the mother taking the child support and spending it on themselves and cars and even on their "new man" and it really makes me sick but there are ways of proving it in court.

YEAH THEY COULD...BUT SOMETIMES THE GUYS DON'T WANT TO PUT THEIR KIDS THROUGH ALL THE DRAMA!! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? BUT I AM PROUD THAT YOU ARE A STRONG SINGLE MOM...MY BEST FRIEND IS A SINGLE MOM...AND SHE DOES VERY WELL FOR HER AND HER BABY GIRL...SHE PUTS ALL THE MONEY HER EX GIVES HER INTO AN ACCOUNT FOR ARWEN....BECAUSE SHE SAID SHE IS GOING TO SCHOOL!!!
 
its messed up especially when he is paying child support every week out his check but yet he gets a letter saying he owes like $9000 and the letter says clearly ''if u are WILLFULLY NOT PAYING..u will be arrested..then we go to court a month later and its $10,000 now and to top it off baby mom didnt even show up to court..and they still lock him up...its not right

WHY DOSE HE OWE SO MUCH MONEY? TRUST ME GIRLS DON'T EVER HAVE TO SHOW UP...I MEAN MY FRIENDS EX DID THE SAME THING TO HIM...HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET UP THERE AND THEY GAVE HIM ANOTHER DATE. I AGREE IT ISN'T RIGHT...
 
Well, there's alot of holes there. Just cause you're paying doesn't mean he has paid everything that he had to pay. Could it be that it's deducted automaticlly or does he write a check or pay in cash himself. Are there rears that he never paid. ANd if he did pay he should of went to court with all the paperwork. Also by law it's by percentage so it doesn't matter what she asks for. There's a set limit. But if he got a raise or made more money then yeah she could ask for some of that also.

we dont know. hes been paying..only time he wasnt paying that he knew he owed was 2 months he was out of work cuz he was in the hospital. and they had a paper saying he owed the whole yr of 2000..which from what they take outta his pay check which is $50 a wk would be like $2000 for the whole yr so i have no idea how its $10,000 now
 
Well, that's the reason he got locked up. He didn't pay for 2 months. Yeah it sucks. But I bet he didn't go to court saying he wasn't working. He probably figured that he wasn't working the court would find out. But the court doesn't look into that. All they want is the money paid. And actually once you get a job you're suppose to pay it all back. That's why he got locked up. Sad but that's how it is. And the reason why it went how has to be other reasons, also there's intrests and fines.
 
That's right LatinoCop said very well. Someone can always go back and have it all reviewed and endup getting more....But there are a lot of guys that decide to screw there EX and kids when they split up by quiting there jobs so they won't have to pay ro start getting payed under the table. That happened to my sister. I don't get the logic, "Jesus!" their your kids.

But then you have some girls that are straight rats. A friend of mines EX was getting AFDC (Welfare) and my buddy was consistent in pay her even more than the agreed upon by the courts. He was paying her and still spending even more on his kid on their visiting weekends while his EX was with her new man and getting goverment assitance. My buddy received a letter from the government saying that he owed because they had been supporting his kid the whole time. Luckily he kept all his cancelled checks and took them to court and they then went after his EX for fraud and now she has to pay all that money back to the government.

I guess in the end you reep what you sow.
 
I guess because of all the schemeing and scamming that goes on that is why the courts come down so hard on people in these situations. It's really sad because in the end it's the little ones that have it the toughest.

Another reason for the "tough love" from the courts is the fact that the burden eventually ends up on the tax payers if there is no support for the child.
 
aight cool..but its still messed up cuz his mom told me today the money dont even go on shorty..she dont even live with the mother no more cuz the mother became a crackhead. she lives wit the grandma who from what i been told has friends in child support company that sent him the letter and thats y i think it says he owes so much.
 
Damn! sounds like he should probably take his daughter and raise her himself.

I wonder if he takes full custody of the child now, would they dismiss all the back child support?
