DOES ANYONE SEE A SIMIARITY OF ANY 2 FREESYLE SONGS? ONE THAT I NOTICED IS THE BEGINING OF "LAW - REMEMBER THE TIMES" AND "CHRISSY ICEE/ARTIE - SECRET LOVERS" ANYONE CATCH ANY OTHERS?

I don't really think those two songs sounds similar.
I think Caprice - "There Goes Your Heart" sounds very similar to Rockell - "I Fell In Love" (esp. The Chorus)
Also Reinald-O - "Take It From My Heart" sounds Like Voice In Fashion - "Only In The Night" in the hook

I find that alot of artists have thier follow-ups hits sounding drastically similiar to thier first. lissette melendez's "together forever" sounded like "a day in my life". my guess is that the record comapany/producers like the first song so much, they think thier second release should sound like the first for some reason. i see this in alot of music, not just freestyle.

heres one dat rhoq mentioned before ... "LAW - Missing Your Love" and "Nicole Daniels - Forever" .. da beat sounds simliar

I did notice some songs sound familiar, but speaking of similar music.
I collect the volumes of Metropolitan. Well I usually look at the cd cover to see if I have that one already or not. But what I did not know was that Metropolitan has the same songs but different mixes on different volumes of their cd's. I was so diappointed when I popped the cd in my car to find that it consisted of all the songs I already had but different mix of it.
I know Metro has volumes of mixes and volumes of reg songs but that sucked. I learned my lesson to now look at the songs on the cd first.

"Let Me Be The One" by Michelle
sounds like it borrowed tunes from a bunch of other songs, like
"Loving You" by Solid, on the "Ooh-ooh-ah" part and
"Come Into My Arms" by Judy Torres and
"Let Me Be The One" by Sa-Fire.
There are also other lines that sound familiar, like
"I've always wanted a boy like you..",
but I can't think of the original sources right now.
It's just a collage of songs.

i thought i was the only one with that theory tony! thanks for making me sure that i wasnt crazy!! as for METROPOLITAN, all thier stuff sounds the same, except for the really early releases.

No offense to Randy Taylor Weber, but I thought that almost every track on the FIRST Galaxy Freestyle compilation sounded very similar to Jossette's "IN A DREAM"...The SECOND Galaxy Freestyle compilation offered a much better variety of sounds...

A writer certainly has the right to make his songs sound similar, but several of Willie Valentin's songs sound the same on the verses and on the bridge. Two of these are "You're The One" by In Order and "No Matter What" by Willie V.
A producer has the right to make his productions sound similar, but Eddie Ed Ramos, used the same instruments over and over on a lot of his songs. Sometimes, it's hard to tell from the intro what song it is.
Much respect to these two producers. They made a lot of good songs, nonetheless.

Sometimes my mom and dad can't tell the difference between my voice and my brother's on the telephone. I guess we're "Similar Sounding Sons"! 😀

When Lisette Melendez came out with "Together Forever" the sound (I SWEAR THEY DID) was duplicated when Corina sang her songs...not 1, not 2, but 3 songs.
Perhaps it was the remixes, BUT DANG, THE INTRO, SOUNDED JUST LIKE LISETTE'S..
"Give me back my heart" is my favorite from Corina.....can we say, that was written for me,,,as if they heard my heart was in PAIN.!!!!

to me the beat from clear touch's fallen angel and college's i'll be loveing you sound the same also so does the ending beat of felix dont cry over him sounds like these too?...am i right?....?>?
