I feel the world is ment,
To take there anger
Out on me,
That to this world
I was sent,
Just so, I can be,
A soul without a mission,
Not knowing where to turn,
A voice where no one listens,
What I want's no one's concern,
I try to meet the needs,
Of all those around,
But no one ever sees,
The times I'm feeling down,
I'm visible when needed,
Invisible when not,
That I have succeeded,
Only in your lonely plot,
But then I turn away,
I know I'm broken down,
In myself I pray,
When I'm not around,
You'll finally realize,
Through the silence I have left,
That inside your life,
A part of me you kept,
Sometimes you must retreat,
For those to see
What means the most,
And I hope next time we meet,
We'll raise our glass and toast,
And celebrate the things,
You now see that I'm not there.
The joy that life can bring,
I hope the silence makes it clear.
