The pic in Adult forum was more defined and it was easily known what the image was, so it cannot be compared to my avatar.

Btw, i'd wouldn't have mind if the pic did stay in adult forum.
 
I feel the votes for don't care should be consider a "No" vote. If a member doesn't care about what i use as an avatar, obviously it means that they don't find it offensive.

I agree with that. I mean, if you go to the X-FORUM, your going there to discuss the topic. The topic at hand was the photo.

i mean, if you dont like the picture, DONT LOOK AT IT. Dont go to the post.

I will respect the vote(s) of the members. As long as they're fair votes i shouldn't have a problem. Hopefully the ladies won't stick with each other just cause, and vote fairly on the issue at hand.

I like the Forum idea, we live in a Democracy and everyones voice should be heard and respected.

Maybe one similar but obviously not that one. The point of the matter is that it is a distorted image that hardly no one knows what it's of. So if you don't know what it is, how can it be offensive? Once a person is told what it is, than they're like Oh.

I had a member ask a co-worker if she knew what it was and she answered a bellybutton ring. Who was that they thought it was a spider?

Something that is undefined cannot be explicit, if it's not explicit than it is not offensive. And that is the question here. Are you truly offended by something that is unrecognizable?

I can't believe this.

We've got soldiers dying in the Middle East and we're here debating over a nipple.

I kinda think it's funny that people who have posted on this thread saying that it is disgusting, will talk about the most obscene stuff in the adult forum, yet a picture of a nipple is disturbing.

Personally, I voted no, he should keep the avatar, if he chooses to. Everyone on this board has two nipples on them, and it is nothing we havn't seen before.

However, cf is supposed to be more than a community, it's supposed to be a family. If a picture here is bothering some of our family members, then out of consideration for the upset family members, the pic should be removed becuase it is the DECENT, RESPECTFUL, AND ADULT thing to do. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD!

Cf has been around for 3 years without a picture of Janet Jackson's nipple, it can continue on without it.

Never in the 3 years that I've been posting to this site have I felt more stupid.

Can we all move on and start acting like adults again?
