I spent 6 years on the road with this girl during the "Glory" days of Expose' and our friendship has recently re-connected.This is one hard working lady!! She has a new album coming out soon, and has been touring the clubs constantly!! During our time with Expose' she was the one that kept in fun for me while dealing with all the BS back then, Gioia was always the one that could make me laugh while I was stressing the most..As a performer, I have never seen better on stage, always giving her all. And, as a person, you never had to wonder what she was thinking. She always told you upfront, good or bad. Basically, she was always "REAL". She has overcome losing her voice to the point where she was not even able to talk, she overcame the way she was treated by the "Business" during Expose', yet, when I talk to her, I feel the excitement in her voice when she talks about her songs.All this, and, she's a great Mom! The Expose' you all know, NEVER would have been as successful without her, that point was proven with the lackluster sales and shows they did after she left the group.. Now, once again, this girl is ready to EXPLODE!!!! She sounds great, her songs are slamming, and, NOBODY tears up a stage like she does.
Gioia, Thanks for the almost 20 years of friendship, for telling girls you were my sister during tours to help me get over (LOL), for the fun we had from Belgium to Japan, you always made the BS worthwhile to me..Hold on kid, you have a fun ride coming!
