Funny, my mom still has our lil' hair locke of when we were babies. lol. Still in prestine condition, in one of those baby albums - i'm sure most of u do too - lol.
 
Thanks Company B, I still have her lockes from her 1st cut too- a year and a half ago. It was only a few inches but I still have it, probably always will.

It's actually Diana Laura but few people in my life have called me that...it sounds so telenovela. Growing up they called me Diana, a few even Diane- I hated that. Now I'm just Dianita. Everyone pronounces it right that way.

My daughter just read everything that evryone wrote and it really made her day. She told her desgraciado father about her haircut and he actually yelled at her, said haircuts are for boy and that while she has short hair he doesn't wanna see her. Can you believe that? He made her cry. Phooey.

What a special girl you have Dianita.. That is the sweetest thing.. And you know what? I'm pentecostal and GOD does not frown on those that give unselfishly which is what you both have done. It's the heart that he looks at, not the hair. Trust me, I grew up the same way and the LORD FREED me from all those "binds" that Men have interpreted to be a sin! So .. Be Free! Krystal, don't feel bad. I say the same thing to myself everyday. That and many more reasons are why he's an ex. Sometime's I just feel so stupid for having loved him.

Ricanlips, thank you so much. Luckily, my beliefs are quite different than the in-laws. My ex's aunt actually told my daughter and I we were going to hell for wearing pants...The sad thing is many of them are so hypocritical. A friend of my ex's who's in the same church is sleeping with his 2 teenage nieces and the mother knows but no one says anything because he spends lots of money on her and on the girls. I always thought that Jesus taught us not to judge others. What's the pentecostal church like anyway? I wanna start bringing my daughter, but I'm not really catholic and don't know much about the other churches. But anyway, I told my daughter luckily daddy's family have no say about what happens to her soul. Otherwise how have you been? I hope your recovery's going great. I'm so happy that everythings been working out so good for you.

Thanks Gina, I'm thinking of sending her pics to the local paper. Maybe if her father sees it, maybe he'll realize what a good thing she did. He lives in the same town and it took him over a week to call her. She didn't even know what to say to him because he made her feel so bad.

well your daughter obviously has your heart as little as she is she's thinking about others you must be so proud as for el desgraciado poor excuse for a father everytime you look a your lil' angel you can be thankful she did'nt come out like him
