Shannon is no longer with Gary Salzman (Big Management/Contagious). She been gone for more than two years.:blah
Shannon will be at this years Winter Music Conference in Miami (March 18-22).

Thanx for the info on my fave, Shannon. I had suspected she left Contagious Records. Good to hear she'll be popping up in Miami though. Keep me/CF posted on any Shannon news!
Civic, I think that CD you are talking about is "The Lost Collection" If it's not please let me know if you have any further info. For now, Thunderpuss remixes of Let The Music Play and Give Me Tonight along with Believe In Me are coming out of Germany on two CD singles. So at least she is still being played in the big anthem clubs!😉

The best mixes are still those originally remixed/produced by Chris Barbosa, the new ones (oriented House/Dance) are not good. Just my opinion! 😉

Original versions vs. New versions
Sup Francis? The Barbosa versions/mixes still stand the test of time and sound great to this day (especially when played loud like in my house!). I do enjoy the newer versions cuz 1) I love all forms of dance music, 2) it IS my fave diva, Shannon, 3) it's always interesting to see how these newer and current DJ remixers/producers 'interpret' classics like Let The Music Play and Give Me Tonight. I still don't think any one of these remixes within the last 2 and a half years have TRULY captured the vibe of those songs that got me sPRUNG! so loooong ago.
I would love for these remixers to move on to other Shannon songs like "My Heart's Divided," "Do You Wanna Get Away," "Stop The Noise," "Sabotage My Heart," "It's Got To Be Love."
And for a real wish list item how about some of new remixes of other Freestyle artists like Sweet Sensation? I know Shannon and SaFire have new remixes out but I would love to hear reinterpretations of some other 80's hits...
