I'm watching the video right now and Shana is so HOT and sexy!!!
I like the way she moves and stuff...I can't believe she was forced into doing freestyle/dance...she's a natural...too bad she went country...i don't even think she made it big there?

Kenny, she wasn't forced into "freestyle" per say.

Her management told her that the easiest genre for a young female to break into was dance. She got signed to Vision records and since freestyle was the hot sound, she recorded her freestyle debut album.

I believe that she's stated that she has always prefered country, and that is where her attention is now. She's probably not having a lot of success because programers are finding out about her "dance" music background.
