What do you think was the best performance?

I have to say Alicia Villareal...India...Graciela Beltran..
Paulina Rubio..Bobby Pulidao & my Barrrio Boyzz w/Soraya.

The sang Sel's songs in Their Own Style..but Managed to
Keep the Tribute To Selena Alive!...some ppl tried to imitate
her or had no clue how to sing her songs..but almost everyone
was great!..
 
I really wish her hubby Chris would've
played one of the songs he wrote for
her!..That wouldve been so nice!
But It was nice that he was there w/his
lil girl, while his wife was in the hospital
recovering from their second child, a boy!
He had to be there for Sel! 😉

I think just about anyone is able to enjoy her music..
whether your Latino or not or speak or understand her
Spanish songs..she also had alot of English songs..and
she Only really spoke english..but she was eager to learn
what she was singing..and learned more each day..to write
and speak it..she always did her best w/the spanish media..
and impressed them all..

It was a great tribute. I enjoyed La India, Alicia Villareal, Paulina and Kumbia Kings. It broke my heart though to see her mother 🙁
 
i saw it and it was really emotional. I couldnt stand seeing her family especially her mother cry..got me all sad n teary eyed. But I really didnt like Thalia's vocal performance or interpretation of the song Amor Prohibido. I dont think she was capable for that kind of song.

thalia is not a vocal artist..she just gorgeous..
but can't hit a note..she shouldve done what
jenlopez did stay home..at least she didnt ruin
any of sel's songs..

yup Sel's hubby was ther w/his lil girl..it's so
awkward seeing him as a dad..something Sel
wanted so bad to do w/him but wasn't allowed
to live for..
 
It was great! I enjoyed it but some performers were a lil out there!

As for Chris ...damnit I didn't see him... you said he was with his lil girl.... gonna watch again and see if I can find him. I was wondering if he would be there 🙂
 
Yes I Watched It From Begining To End , It Was A Great Tribute To Her May God Bless Her She Was So Beautiful And It Was Such A Tragedy. Shes Looking Down Though Shes In Such A Better Place Right Now , Her Beauty And Talent Will Live On!! God Bless Her Family Her Parents Raised A Beautiful Daughter!!! I Think The Best Performance Was Techno Kumbia Featuring The Kumbia Kings That Was Hot And Also The Last Song They Sang. Rest In Peace Mama !! You Live On In All Our Hearts !!!

INDIA was the BEST performance of the night.But I disagree with you on JENNIFER LOPEZ not performing, she did a great job of her SELENA song in live from Puerto Rico-at least she would of done a better job, than some of the performers that night and it would of been great to see her perform.The opening monologue she did is great and she looked so beautiful!!
 
frankie i luvvv jen..thaz my girlll.. i enjoy her singing..cuz she sounds
like yr average girl..i just think she was Wise in the Fact that Regardless
of how good or bad she wouldve done Sel's songs, she wouldve been
Criticized..so she was Wise not to give the press Anything to talk about!
I personally wish she wouldve performed..
