Ok guys I work with 8 other legal assistants whom we all picked names for secret santa. Well, yesterday we started with a smal gift and everyday we are to put a gift on our secret santa's desk. Yesterday I gave my secret santa a frosty candle and she does not have a clue who put it on her desk. Today I gave her a christmas dish filled with christmas candy. I asked her what her secret santa gaver her yesterday and today and she sounded disapointed. She made a remark like oh just a candle with a frown. It sort of hurt my feelings. FRIDAY is the day we reveal our secret santa and give our big gift. I think that she is forgetting that its the thought that counts. What should I do? And what should I get her for Friday? Any suggestions?
 
i'd give her coal now. and tell the biotch to learn some manners.
 
Don't be dissapointed, at least you have a clue as to what she likes. Before friday, you should send her a message asking what would she like as a gift.

Even though it's the thought that counts, I'd like to know what to get my secret santa and vice versa. The thought of going out of your way for that person gives a good message. And just in case you could tell her "I know you didn't like my clues so please let me know what would you like..."

Some people are just plain Scrooge's at this time of year.
 
that is why i dont participate in secret santas i get the people i care for only i know its mean but its true
 
I would get her what I WANT to give her! I wouldn't care if she put a frown or not. The good part about all of this is the revealing of the secret santa on Friday and she has to remember that you asked her what she received from hers right? Therefore, with remembering that you asked, she will remember the face she had! And if her tone of voice was disappointing too, she'll think about that too. 😉 And feel like an a$$!
 
Just ask her what she wanted to see on her desk.. Tell her maybe her secret santa will bring it for Friday..

I wouldn't get upset ova it.. It's the thought - she's lucky she got what she got already..
 
you guys are too funny. She needs some clothes , because she wears the same thing all the time, so I will by her a shirt or something. Thanks peeps.
 
Good luck girl! And if she doesn't like the shirt, take all your sh*t back on Friday after you reveal that you were her santa. :lol Now that would be some funny sh*t don't you think? :lol
 
My Boyfriends Family Did A Secret Santa And We Also Did A Wish List So Everyone Has An Idea Of What The Other Person Wants.

GREAT IDEA!!!THIS IS THE ADVICE I WOULD TAKE...MY SECRET SANTA IS FOR NEXT WED.. HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M GETTING THIS GIRL HARDLY KNOW HER SINCE I WORK HERE NIGHT AND SHE DAYS...WAS THINKING OF A GIFT CERT AT A NAIL SALON SINCE SHE LIVES BY ME,, ANY SUGGESTIONS?
 
hey sis, well if she was a good person with some kind of heart then she would appreciate whatever she gets but with a remark like that then dont even bother going all out , what ever is clever, u know that already, if its any help , give her a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!en gift certificate for 40 dls, let her get whatever the hell she wants....sorry bout languege but whatever
