Falling in to bed one night,
you catch an unusual smell.
Funny, its perfume,
just not the one you wear.
Scenarios and questions
run rapidly through mind,
but you don't a say a word.
Trying to brush it off,
yet you can't let it go.
It's driving you crazy.
You know it smells semi familiar,
you've smelt it before,
just not sure where.
It begins to haunt you,
you're determined to find out,
even though the answer you will not like.
Out of the blue it hits you,
that smell of perfume was in the car
when he picked you up
upon your return from your trip away.
Still not sure what to think,
you're angry, upset and frustrated.
You want answers.
You go to confront him,
catch him off guard
while he's at work.
Walking in,
passing people,
that scent becomes vivid.
Turning around in a rage,
you're blood boiling,
looking for the culprit,
you turn around and come face to face with......
