As a kid, I was HORRIFIED of 4 things:

"Night Of The Living Dead" (black & white original)

MJ's "Thriller" video

Rockwell's video for "Somebody's Watching Me"
(the freakin' mail-man!)

& This weird horror movie I saw with my Grandmother, with Tanya Roberts called "Tourist Trap", where these teens get trapped at a museum/werehouse & the Mannequins come to life, start chanting ghastly, float, & then kill people!

(LOL> I know it sounds bizzarre, but I couldnt come NEAR a freakin' mannequin at Sears with my mom for the life of me! - LMAO!)

So basically, I was horrfied of Zombies, & the idea of the dead coming to life from da ground, & grabbing me,
and, well, ....Mannequins! - LOL!

As I got older I became obsessed with both, & would even practice gore/corpse make-up on friends, & glamour on others.
Here I am today, looking to buy mannequins for my personal fashion collection & designs, collector of "Fangoria" magazines & horror movies, & thinking of working with the dead in a mortuary or morgue in the future, aside from my entertainment & art.
Weird huh?

& I JUST found "Tourist Trap" on DVD this weekend & almost died! It was hilarious! The dumb things we get scared of when we are kids. (But it's still pretty creepy for kids).

the one thing that frightened me the most was some movie called "MAGIC" where this vantriliquist had this doll that came to life and killed people.

another was the 70's version of "INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS".
 
I used to be scared of the video for "Owner of a Lonely Heart" by Yes. I think there were snakes in it and all...lol I also used to get scared from those emergency broadcast things on TV...I guess I thought the world was gonna come to an end!

Well, my mother truly kept me "walking the straight" line with the infamous "CUCO" in the closet.

To this day...I hate closets so I have my sister clean mine. lol lol lol
 
To this day i'm terrified of clowns because of that movie called "IT".
 
The only thing I was afraid of and STILL AM are CLOWNS!!!!! Those evil looking people....lolol

Also I was terrified of Sharks due to watching Jaws.......couldn't go to the beach for the life of me.
 
Freddy Kruger-I was scared shitless of him and some of the scenes from the movies, like when freddy comes outta jessie's body, and that girls chest in the bus, i was always scared freddy's glove was gonna come outta my stomach. and the kid walking like a puppet in the 3rd one...uggh im still scared of string puppets. lol

Thriller-those yellow eyes

the Somebody Watching Me song- I think i was all the more scared of it because i thought it was michael jackson and i was scared of him already from Thriller

that play CATS-cause they were freaking looking to me

the videos Dr.Beat(i think it was)by Miami Sound Machine/Gloria Estafan...she was like a robot or somethin.
and Ozzy Osborne's Shot in the Dark- when that chick turned into a vampire or somethin withe the red eyes..

I see some of u had similar fears, dolls, puppets, statues, & me - mannequins. lol.
Somethin has always been eerie about them huh?

I just remembered another zombie thing:
the music video for "Jeapordy" by Greg Kihn Band.
He goes to the altar to get married & when he lifts the vail, his bride is a rotted corpse, & everyone at the wedding is too, & they all start chasing him out of the church!

& This movie called "Ghost Story". (again, a ghostly corpse).

My mom would scare us with "Los ojos de la Santa Lucia" - ("The eyes of Saint Lucia"), A nasty witch who's eyes glowed red as she floated around looking for kids who dont go to bed ontime.
My mom would chant all creepy into the hall from her room: "Oooooooooooooooooooh!!, ...Santa Lucia!!!.."
(That one always got us!)

Funny when i was a kid I was terrified of Vampires Movies. And now Shiat I love them! bite me bite me!! lmaoo

I remember seeing parts of that movie "Magic" on TV, with Anthony Hopkins - (he does the puppet), but I have never seen it completely. Now I MUST rent it.
