when freestyle is playin in the club step back cause im taking the dance floor over but i was in a salsa club the other night and wow i wish i could do that..i saw a couple who looked like they were flying.. i said to myself i wanna do that..i get by with the basics . but wow i waana do what they were doing!! anyone know of a 'salsa dance school" because dam i wanna know how to do that i wanna be a salsero!!
 
If you go to the Goya section in a supermarket they show you tips how they open up tomato cans on the floor to make it slippery.

if you know how to dance like that man bombero indeed im actually embaressed that i cant dance salsa like that being straight up boriqua..its in our blood i gotta learn that!! just like in the last few years ive actually learned to speak spanish...i remember being in puerto rico a few tears back and being ashamed i didnt know how to speak..now ive learned to speak but now i wanna know how to dance like that

Just Do A Search Under Salsa Lessons, Classes, Etc And See What You Come Up With In Your Area!! I Know What You Mean About Wanting To Dance Like That Tae...i Went To A Club A While Back And I Saw These Couples Just Sweeping The Dance Floor With The Salsa....i Wish I Could Dance Like That....i Can Salsa By Myself As In Not Holding The Partners Hand, I Think I Would Get Lost And Step On Some Feet...lol But I Can Dance Me Some Merengue!! :d

Go for it Tae, my daughter has a private salsa instructor and he's one of the Eddie Torres dancers. He's a good friend of mine. But now he's doing so many shows everywhere that he travels a lot. But my daughter has been dancing with this man for 6 years now. If that's what you want to do then do it. It's a lot of work. So prepare yourself. But when you learn the steps, it's a lot of fun!
 
Tae you can ask Sam K he has been going to one for a while or hit his Migente page up he has a link up, the one he goes to is really well known and he always has tons of fun in his class. 🙂

Funny u should mention it- I know of a place in White Plains I have to check out- "supposidly" there are free lessons on Friday nights- I have to check it out
 
yea salsa and merangue. i can dance them pretty good for a white girl but i need to take lessons so i can be as good as everyone else. thinkin i'm goin dancin on wed.

i get heated up afterwards 😉
 
I think they give free lessons at China Club on Friday nights.. I know they did a while ago! 🙂 Salsa is such a romantic way of dancing. Like LaIndia said.. you become one with ur partner! My sister and my neice are awesome Salsa dancers....

BTW: My sister will be with me @the Copa on the 26th...maybe she can show you some moves! 🙂
