Hey everyone,
I was watching The King of Queens on CBS this past Wednesday. There was a fantasy scene involving Carrie and a salsa singer with two backup dancers. One of the dancers used to dance for Safire a few years ago. I think his name is Justin. I met him once after one of Safire's shows. He seems like a nice guy. Good to see his still having success doing his thing. Did anyone else catch the show?

king of queens is one of my favorite shows. I definately saw this episode - the actor would played the doctor is LEAH REMINI real life husband.

I would if SAFIRE's dancer spoke to Leah about SAFIRE - Leah is a freestyle lover

I don't know about funky eyes Kenny...they seem pretty normal to me LOL. Actually, he shaves his head bald and has a goattee. I believe he was dancing with Safire towards the end of her performances when she was announcing her retirement.

I was just talking to a friend of mine a few days ago and she was telling me that the reason Safire never had an official retirement show was because she had a falling out with her dancers. Since she couldn't do a full show with dancers, she didn't want to do it. Does anyone know anything about this?

I highly doubt this happened.

Safire dosen't need dancers to put on a slammin show - she's hot on her own.

Her final show was a the wild palm and as far as I know her dancers were backing her up -

My sources say - she wanted to go out quietly. She didn't want a big fuss to be made.

Yeah, it definately didn't go down like that! I had a great relationship with Wilma/Safire until the very end. The Wild Palm was her last show. At that time we didn't know it was the end, but that's the way it went down. It had nothing to do with any behind the scenes drama, so please let's kill that story now! It was a pleasure to work with her and while we no longer speak, she does hold a special place in my heart.

RR glad to see you recognized me on "The King of Queens". It was a great experience. The cast and crew are a great group of people!!
