[Sadness]

Night falls,
and my happiness comes to an end.
Why you ask?
Because the man I love goes home to another.
Why do I stay you ask?
Because I love him!
Because he says his wife means nothing to him!
That he just lives there and I believe him.
But my heart saddens.
Why you ask?
Because he says he loves me,
but he won't leave his house.
What is he waiting for?
I don't know!?!?
Maybe I'm just pleasant time for him.
Just a few moments of escape from the reality he lives in.
Why do I stay?
Because of Fear!!!!
Fear????
Yes, Fear!!!
The fear of having to spend the rest of my life alone.
Maybe I'm breaking a home!?!
Or maybe this home is already broken.
But either way,
I still find myself alone.
Consumed,
by sadness.
