Hey everyone.

My family just got a phone call that my dad's mom (my last surviving grandparent) passed away tonight.

She was 98.
 
Sorry to hear that Chuck...but she led a full life just think of that 🙁

thats really sad chuck 🙁 i hope you and your family cope well with her loss. but still you're lucky that she survived all the way to 98, that's very miraculous.

Since I'm thinking of Gram, here's a funny story to let you know what she was like.

It was 5 years ago (she was 93) and I had just come out. My father called to tell her. Then, she called to talk to me, and she said to me (in her Italian accent) "I wanna you to know, you-a my grandson, and I lova you. Now, I gonna aska you something....How do you-a do it??"

😱 I said..."What?"

She said again, "You-a know, how you-a do it??"

😱

I was NOT about to tell her that, so I said:

"Gram, when I find out, I'll let ya know"

Then she said, "You meana tella me you one-a dem, and you don't know how you-a do it??"


LOL That was Gram, always said what was on her mind, and was like that until tonight.

I'll miss you Gram!

that story you told about her is funny 🙂 seems like she was one very great woman. but she'll be remembered by all, and all you can do is feel blessed that you had this person in your lives.
