OK HERE I GO. IVE LOVED SAFIRE FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. GOD I WANTED TO BE JUST LIKE HER SOUND JUST LIKE HER YOU NAME IT I WANTED TO BE HER. SHE HAS THIS AMAZING VOICE AND IF YOU HAVE EVER HEARD HER SING ACAPELLA YOU KNOW JUST WHAT I MEAN. SHE JUST HAS THIS BEAUTY ABOUT HER THAT JUST SHINES THROUGH IN HER MUSIC, EVERY NOTE LET OUT IS FELT BY HER. I GET SO TONGUE TIED WHEN IT COMES TO SAFIRE BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS ADMIRED HER AND LOOKED UP TO HER, SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN UNTOUCHABLE IN MY EYE'S HER VOICE THE LOVE SHE GIVES OUT. SHE IS TRULY AMAZING IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. I AM THANKFULL THAT SHE HAS GIVEN US SO MANY YEARS OF HERSELF OF HER BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND I KNOW THAT AS SHE HAS SHINED WITH ALL SHE HAS GIVEN US SHE WILL SHINE AT ALL SHE MAY DO NEXT. IT IS SAD BECAUSE I CAN ONLY THINK OF A HANDFUL THAT ARE AS REAL AND GENUINE AS HER. IT IS TRULY RARE TO FIND, COME ACROSS EVEN SOMEONE AS AMAZING AS MS. SAFIRE. I FINALLY HAD MY DREAM COME TRUE AND MET HER AT THE 2ND BLIS SHOW AND I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY EXCEPT I LOVE YOU AND YEAH I WAS DRUNK SO EMBARRASSING BUT SHE WAS AS SWEET AS CAN BE AND I AM SO THANKFUL I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO MEET HER AND SPEAK TO HER. I WILL DEFF MISS HER BUT I WILL NOT FORGET HER LOL LOVE YOU SAFIRE 😉
 
Well I just got off the phone with Safire just now. She said that when she returns from Miami tomorrow she will post her thank you's to her fans, and she will also give you information on her future projects. Even from the airport she thinks of her fans.

Now my thank you 's to Safire:
As a huge fan of her and her music, I too am a little sad about her leaving the freestyle industry, but also extremely happy that she will continue to do her singing and continue to "wow" us with her beautiful and distinctive voice.

I thank the day I met her and we became friends. because not only do I get to enjoy hearing her do her little ditty's when we're hanging but we also have a great friendship.

So mama in closing I wish you all the luck in the world, because you truly deserve it and then some.

You are without a doubt very rare in this industry, kind, giving, genuine and very talented.

I'll see you at the gym😉.lol

I think safire shouldnt have stopped there. She was on to something. "Can you stand the rain" proved it. Sure, it wasnt doing that good but it sure did better than all the rest of the freestyle singles being put out these days. I think she shouldve continued on to see what would happen. Like I said, it all starts with belief. It seems like most artists are afraid of being pioneers and like to do common things like all other artists these days. Anyway, safire I will always cherish your music. I have been a fan of yours since the day "thinking of you" came out. I will always listen and spin your music for years to come, good luck in all of your endeavours.
 
Like all of you., I have always been a huge fan of SaFire. And like Sexyangel, I wanted to be just like her. I memorized the words to her songs and still know them all by heart. "Boy Ive Been Told" has always been my fave freestyle song...when I hear the song come on the radio, I blast it!!! I am really sad to hear that SaFire will no longer be singing freestyle but I will support her in all her future ventures. And I will always continue to listen to her classics and more recent songs like Eyes of a Stranger and smile. She is one of my idols and always will be!!!! Best of luck to you SaFire!!!

Dear Safire,
when i think of my all time freestyle favs, i gotta include your stuff. I saw you last year at Atlantis on S.I., Budz told us you were leavin and we ran outside to catch you at the limo. You signed my Safire cassette, gave me a free record of Dont break my heart (2002 version), and signed every one of my friends 15 records or so that he bought, AND took pics with all of us.
You didnt have to do all that, and I realized what a great person you really were.
I respect you're decision to leave freestyle music, but i know you'll make a few "cameo" appearances somewhere down the road someday. It's too much a part of you!!! Good luck and stay strong,

I luv her freestyle stuff but I know she will blow up in the R&B market! And she will get that credit and spotlight she deserves. I can't wait to hear her new stuff!

I'll definitely ride with her through whatever type music she decides to do next.

Im not sure what to say to you Safire to change your mind and I am sure you might not remember but you are the reason that I got back into freestyle.

Jan 28th, 2000 - I meet you at emerald city in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Besides the fact that it was my 25th b-day and I had just gotten engaged. I was going through a very emotional time. You were about to take time off for the baby if I remember correctly you told me you were 8 months pregnant. We were in the office and I told you how much your song thinking of you ment to me and we swaped stories behind that great song. And then and there was when I knew what I had to do.

Safire - I wish I can do something to change your mind because this is such a blow to freestyle and me as a fan personaly. I have your video of the first time you performed down here in miami. I always wish I can show it to you sometime, and your video for I am going to make it. I play that video and song from bringing back the grove everytime I feel like quiting. To give me strenth.... Please reconsider. I will support you no matter what but please reconsider...

WOW! What can I say? When she announced this at Blis my heart clutched! I felt like screaming out NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO but I'm sure many felt that way!

I sit here and read everyones response and my eyes are watery. I can't believe that you are retiring from freestyle. Okay heres the first tear. I just spent so much time getting your Safire CD and when I found it I was estatic. (For that I thank You Kenny it was your info that helped me get her CD). Well at least you will keep singing. Don't worry you keep making us all proud of you. We ALWAYS got your back! Una Estrella Que nunca se apaga!
