I'm looking at this information on Ebay.com about Sa-Fire's "I Wasn't Born Yesterday" album and the seller lists Brian McKnight for her vocal arrangements?

Is that a typo or a different Brian Mcknight?...or the actual king of adult/contemporary R&B? lol

I wasn't aware he did anything in freestyle, but I could be wrong.

Anyone have the cd with the album credits?

Surprise! Surprise!

yes that is the brian mcknight - he worked on her 2nd album. She's work with some pretty big names - some into freestyle and others not.

this is one of the reasons u should have ALL of her albums - lol

Lol, thanks for that information, I'm gonna try and hit the bid on the seventh day but I did this before and found some other fool had the same plan. But maybe better luck this time.

Brian McKnight coaching Sa-Fire?...oh u kno I gotta check that out fo sheezy! 😛

" i wasn't born yesterday " is actually a very good album - there's also a song she recorded " i never heard " written by michael jackson.

this album really showcases her great voice - her voice and range really improved from her 1st album. though it isnt 100% freestyle, the album is fun to listen too. i still listen to it often.

good luck with the bid -

I love "Taste The Bass", "I Can't Cry", & "Whatever Happens".🙂
Some may already now this, but George Lamond & Cynthia do the background vocals on "Made Up My Mind".

😛

"i can't cry" is a GREAT song -

i saw her perform " whatever happens " on the JOAN RIVERS SHOW, she looked fierce in a black pant suit!! accompanied by a piano player.

other good tunes - "shame" , "loves gotta be there" , "i'm a victim" and of course "some things never change" with tony moran (one of the best freestyle duets)

i have both her cds and they both are classics. Safire we miss you.

it's a shame only 2 singles came for that lp..

aw shew is one of my favorites ....I didnt know about brian mc night wow she was working with the big dogs

There are alot of things that people don't know about this wonderful truly amazing woman.. That is why in my eyes she will always be #1 as a friend and performer.

she's worked with quite a few big names in the business, ruben blades, david morales, etc... this is one of the reasons i admire her. she goes beyond freestyle music and isn't afraid to take chances.
