I would like to say GRACIAS to Safire for putting out a slamming album, today I went and met up with my younger cousin, shopping for CD's & I found and brought another Safire album thinking that i didnt have it yet, DUH!l. Which I did awhile & I found it behind my records etc, oh well..lol. Also, GRACIAS for keeping the groove going. keep it up mija!

oh, and i dont mean to leave out the other awesome performers, but this is SAFIRE's thread....heheheh. well, i'm outtie.

Man I just got Safire New Cd.. God Bless Safire beautiful voice... I love the whole Cd.. The salsa Version was kool but I wished she would sing it in Spanish; to get he feeling how she would sound as a salsa singer. But one again Safire you go girl keep makin more beautiful music

she did release a full lenght salsa cd in 1996 on sony tropical records. i think she did a great job! it was called 'atrevida'. there's even a duet with george lamond called "valiente'.

Im a typical Puerto Rican guy, who looks, & acts like a regulal Latino dude raised up north in the projects around Boston/NYC,

but on weekends.............

(lmao!)..........i'm a lipsynch, high-energy
Dance/ Club diva "drag" performer in South Florida!....I do mostly crazy Progressive & Tribal House & Techno-Dance,...but I occasionally imitate peeps like:

Sheila E, J-Lo, Vanity, Aaliyah, Amoretto, Jocelyn Enriquez, Expose' & Lisa Lisa (jus to name a few).

& right now, ...with my group of dancers (5-guys & 2 girls), im putting together a show for the new "Remix" of Safire's "Love Is On Her Mind". It's gonna be HOT! I'll try to videotape it.

& As a "guy", ...I do back-up dancing for other performers. & NO...not all of my dancers are "gay". 2 of the guys, & the 2 girls are straight.

Well...I hope no ones offended, ...but...u guys ask ...& I answer.

Didn't I tell you that it was great. 😉

and the best thing about the whole album is that she sang all the song over again. She didn't just redo the music she redid all the vocals too! That's alot of hard work, but it paid off because the tracks are kick a$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, ...im not T.P. Lords Or Daisy Deadpetals, but I know who they are!....I just spent some of last Saturday with T.P., ...we took some pictures, ...& I owe her the copies. : )

As well as I need to give Daisy some copies of ol' pics I got of her.

Im still "new" here. I had a name for me back around the Worcester/Boston area in MA.

But here, I've done a few things here & there, ...& now I'll be performing soon @ the new "Mocambo Room", ...& "Kashmir".

I was also supposed to perform for Daisy's contest at the "Coliseum" a while back...but sh*t happens.

Wow...it's so funny to find someone on the board who knows this stuff...lol

SAFIRE is da bomb!!!....& I can't wait to do this song in "praise" of her!
