Roof Collapses on Toys R Us store outside DC

This morning when I woke up, I turned on NBC 4/WRC(DC's NBC Affiliate) they was reporting that this morning The Roof of a Toys R Us store in Hyattsville(which is a mile NE outside DC) fell in. No deaths was reported, but many who was in the store was taken to nearby Hospitals. PG County firemen has immedatly concluded that the collapse was a result of the heavy pile up of snow from this weeks blizzard and the heavy flood like rain we are getting now. That's why I hate being in old buildings, you never know how much the roofs of these building had decayed over the years with snow and heavy rain.🙁

Not great news to hear waking up. That was a very old building that Toys R Us is in. Heavy snow and rain and ice do lots of damage to old roofs. On Saturday Toys R Us like many stores on Saturday is packed. I just hope it was not packed this morning there🙁

This is not a good thing for Toys R Us. Imagine all the lawsuits!! If some people did die, not good at all.🙁

aye dios mio...but it's not their fault...it was nature's doing ...unless they say they should've removed the snow from the roof.
