i also agree. if the sob wanted to have an affair, i bet laci would have been just fine. its obvious that she has a large family who cares and loves her deeply. i'm sure her and her baby would have been fine without that piece of trash in their lives.

i live in the bay area and the story gripped everyone... did you guys also hear that scott was arrested way before the idenification was even known.. the reason was he was found with 10k on him, 10 miles from the mexico border and had his brothers id on him and he also changed is appearance? his parents are saying he wasnt trying to flee to mexico....... yah right.,. stupid rat bastard... he should burn in hell:mad
 
Of course his parents are going to stand behind him...but I heard that some of his other relatives, like some cousins, do believe he is guilty. And did you guys hear what Amber Frey (the woman he was having the affiar with) told police?? In mid-December, when Laci was still alive & living in the house with Scott, Scott told Amber that he was married but he lost his wife a year ago...leading her to believe that his wife had died. Then just a week or two later, Laci went missing. So I think that in itself says a lot. Amber Frey will be a very important person in this. The arraignment is going to be this afternoon and I believe Laci's family is holding a press conference later today, as well.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all that Laci's smile has touched. My 6 year old caught a picture of her on TV last night and laughed... he said her smile made him smile (happy)... she has a big silly smile like me he said... unfortunately, he then heard that she was dead which made him sad.

I can't believe someone could do this to another living soul let alone someone that they were suppose to love, someone that was carrying their child.

My cousin said her body was mutilated, did anyone else hear that?

I'm not a religious person, but I do believe in heaven and I do believe that she is going to be Connor's mom there away from this evil man.

I watched her mom speak of her last night and thought to myself, god bless her for her strength... she focused on the love of her daughter and grandson and didn't waste her time on that SOB.

I visited the lacipeterson.com website and signed the guest book.

It made me feel a little better.

I thought her mother's speech yesterday was one of the must heartbreaking things I have ever heard in my life. Anyone who didnt cry along with her, has to have a heart of stone.

As for the condition in which her body was found, yes it was very decomposed and missing some parts...but they dont know if someone actually did that to her, or if it happened as a result of being tied down in the water with wires and cement blocks. I dont want to go into details because it is very gruesome. She and Connor definitely didnt desserve any of that!

Randi, I cried horribly. I give her so much credit for having the strength to even continue reading her speach even after she started to break down. Having your child die before you must be hard enough, but to have them killed in such a way must be unbearable.

I'm glad you signed the book... I read some and as much as it broke my heart to read some of those - it made me smile knowing that there are allot of people out there that do have good hearts and cared for this woman and her child even though they did not know who she was.

Did you hear about that other pregnant woman missing? They don't air that story as much, but I'm following that one too.

Hi Gina! Yes, I heard about the other woman who was also found in the bay in pretty much the same condition as Laci...I think her name was Evelyn Hernandez. If Im not mistaken, she had a 5 yr old son that was also killed. However, I dont think they have been able to find any links to btwn her and Laci. It seems that whatever evidence they found in Laci and Scott's home has led them to believe that Scott killed her. Im sure a lot more will come out soon. Larry King follows this story a lot so you should watch his show for good insight into the case from defense atttorneys and prosecutors.

My heart truly goes out to her family. Losing a child has to be one of the worst things in the world.
