you can take any song...copy it from a cd or any mp3 and modify it to make it into a ring tone...I paid one fee and use it all the time...you can create your own wallpaper for your phone and everything...I love it!

Very Cool!!🙂 thanks

Depending on the phone ya got. Just buy the data cable for that phone and make ya own ringtones. I make my own for my Sidekick II (Thought ya need to be a developer to gain access to that) and my Moto Razr 3

Papo329 does your phone accept USB compatability? If so there should be a program that you can buy for your phone that when connected to your PC via USB or bluetooth you can create your own freestyle ringtones 😉

I had a Motorola V600 that supported MP3 and I made a few of them of Nu Image 😀 I used the program that was for the phone to connect...and a free software program online called "auditcity" for MP3 editing and "razorlame" to convert the file to MP3. Then just transfer from PC to phone via USB 😉

Not that hard..kinda fun to do 😛

wow, thanks for the info!

:whistle I would love Judy Torres on mine~ or LisaLisa.................

Thanks Diamond for that link and

Yburgos7 - gracias to you too!!!

I tried to use audicity b4...but couldn't understand it. I have a Sanyo RL 7300 cellphone. I also have a program called snapmedia (from radio shack) but it uses ONLY midi rigtones. My cell can have polyphonic ringtones..But I don't wanna mess & fuss with it too much..I'm afraid I'm gonna mess up the phone.

IDK.......🙁

audicity is a bit complex..but worth studying and messing around with 😉 its a great free program thats for sure. If your phone does polyphonic ringtones then most likely it does MP3 or accepts MP3 files for ringtones lol

Gotta becareful too when you making a custom ringtone because of the properties of the file...a cell phone speaker cannot handle the same type of MP3 you hear on headphones etc..you can blast the speaker on the cell lol Also cellphones cannot handle many full MP3 songs cause of size.

Its good to do some online research first when making that jump..thats how I learned about the acoustics on making an MP3 for a cell phone. 🙂

I have the Sprint phone Sanyo MM7400 and I just go on the site that I posted...paid the fee...got the program, made my ringtones and send them to my phone...and they are MP4 which sound clearer than MP3s...but the site will let you know what format is best for your phone...
