Not wanting to admit it,
But not wanting to let go.
Remembering all the good times,
We had to live for.
But now you're just a picture,
Sitting on my desk.
Causing me to wonder where I went wrong,
Or if its for the best.
You told me that you loved me,
And I believed it to be true.
Now all I think about,
Is how I no longer have you.
Now all I have for memories,
Is a voicemail on my cell.
But soon that will fade away,
Leaving only stories to tell.
About all the good times,
Like our nights at the park.
Sitting on the benches,
And holding each other in the dark.
Since you've been gone though,
Even our bad times seem so great.
Were we meant to be together,
Or is being away a part of fate.
Deep down inside there is a love,
That I know both of us can feel.
And even though were not as one,
We're both crying the same tears.
Tears of pain and sadness,
As we reunite.
Knowing we should be back together,
And hoping in the future we just might.
