I happened across an older OOP issue of Powerhouse Remix service the other day and was shocked to find a freestyle remix of a club song. The remix was a 128 BPM freestyle version of The Color of Love by Amber. It is DA BOMB. Has anyone out there ever heard it. I love it. I have always thought here voice would sound great over a freestyle backbeat and her vocals are very reminicent of older freestyle. Speaking of this, has anyone else found anymore rare freestyle mixes on Remix Services of songs that are not considered freestyle. One other that comes to mind is Bills, Bills, Bills by Destiny's Child remix on Ultimix a few years back. It has a great freestyle backbeat.
 
Is the Cynthia remix for "Thief Of Heart" on there? Anyone know if that's the remix that's on her remix cd?
 
No that version is not on there but the Remix Service Mixx-It did a version of Theif of Heart by Cynthia that was pretty good. Only available on vinyl and is way OOP.
 
I remember that mix, it was kind of a bass-thumpin, Stevie B.-style remix. I liked it better than the original. It's not on any cd's though? I hate when I can't buy the tracks I like!
 
Go to www.mixx-it.com they have cd-r copies of almost all there old freestyle remixes for 5.00 a cd. I bought a bunch of them and the only problem is that the cd's were made from the 12" versions and not the original DAT's. The sound quality is pretty bad. But hey for 5.00 it isnt bad for listening. Not good for mixing though.
 
Oops Bad info. The cd's are now 10.00 a piece. When I ordered them a few weeks ago they were on sale.

about half way in the 2N it goes garage house but comes back to FS.
