I don't know about everyone else here, but it seems that there are or has been in the past couple of years too many Freestyle songs that are remakes. I noticed that Irene has covered almost every song she has on compilations by artists who have put out these songs in recents years. I know there is still quality Freestyle out there, but I am getting tired of all the remakes. I don't mind songs that are remade from anything other than the 90s. But to hear remakes of songs that are recent is ridiculous! This is just my opinion.

i feel exactly wut you're saying, sum of the nu skool remakes to ol skool jams are WACK! but one remake that is PHAT is Rosalinda's remake to Let's A Find A Way, which was originally done by Segment 12

Remakes Remakes Remakes

Ok Were Talkin About Remakes? Hmmm...I Personally Hate Them...If The Song Is Slammin When It Was 1st Done? DONT FU**IN TOUCH IT...Remakes Most Of The Times Dont Live Upto The Original. Personally Im Gonna Bite My Tongue For Saying That Cuz I Am Gonna Remake A Song Or 2 Down The Line...But They Will Be Songs That Are Hard 2 Find Or Very Very Rare Stuff. Something That People Wouldn't Know Is A Remake Unless Ur A Die Hard Fan.And I Understand Yous Comparing New Skool With Old Skool. But Don't Judge New Skool Cuz Of The People That Make Remakes Cuz Those Are Horrible. If U Look At the new Skool Artists Like Alex*Latin Nation* And Myself,Frankie Boy,Rockell*Hmmm Some Songs* Almost All of Tazmania Records Artists,Willie Valentin And The Artistik Crew, The List Goes On And On. Thats The Real New Skool. Not B.S.
Anywayz,
Keep it Pumpin Always,
