I understand what your saying Boricua, but I don't put too much faith in a book written by man. Right now the power of "man" gives me little faith as a matter of fact. Bu tit's cool that people can hol donto something and believe though. you keep doing your thang pa😉

who are you (or I for that matter) to judge whether it's necessary or unnecessary?! some of us may have found it funny and those of you who didn't he already apologized. Dead issue. he made a mistake. but we are entitled to make jokes and laugh about things, whether or not you take them seriously is on you. don't dog on the guy for making a joke. it's the way he is. just b/c u don't like it don't mean he have to shut up about it. he can say whatever he feels like saying so long as it's not a rude remark/joke towards any ONE particular person.

How can I explain myself…
Things have been very hard and I don’t
know how long it’s going to take,
how much it’s going to take,
but I know one thing God is still in control.

I hurt inside and I wonder
what is going to happen,
but God is still in control.

I cry at night,
I wonder at night,
I talk to myself at night,
I can’t sleep at night,
but God is still in control.

I scream for help,
call a friend,
I reach out,
but God is still in control.

The day ends
and the sun sets
and my tears run down
my cheeks as I fall
into a fast sleep
but God is still in control.

The question remains “If I live a good life then I will obtain heaven and be with my Father in heaven? But is this scriptural. We read in Ephesians 2:8-9, verse 8: For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9: not of works, lest anyone should boast.

So as you can see it is not by living a good life that gets you to heaven lest any man can boast and say I was good! So how do you go to heaven?

Well Jesus taught us in John Chapter 3 here Jesus and a Rabbi named Nicodemus spoke about this subject and Jesus make it clear…

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
Verse 4: Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Verse 5: Jesus answered, “Most assuredly. I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

So you must be born again, this is not a ministry or a denomination. But a confession of faith in Jesus Christ,
Romans10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raise Him from the dead, you will be saved.
So John 3:3 the water represents repentance, asking forgiveness from God (Jesus) not man.
Second the Spirit represents the Holy Spirit that lives in you…
Read Revelations Chapter 3 Verse 19: “Behold, I stand at the door and Knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
So God is asking to live in your heart? That is the Spirit! The Holy Spirit!

There are not many way to heaven only one! And that is through Jesus Christ? Where is this found? Lets read John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Today I teach many Catholics and Christians and many are coming to faith in Christ, Bless you all in Jesus Name.

nessa, i completely understand what u meant... although it was not the right place for it... we were all talking about religion and what to eat(or rather not to it hehehe) on ash wednesday.. and he comes outta nowhere with that... i'm not religious myself, but c'mon... it's an old issue no need to dig it out, let's forget about it... but at that time i said what i wanted, simly because i, like him CAN...or could 😀... some people found it funny and they laughed.. why weren't they attacked for laughing? and me for stating i didn't like it got this... not fair 🙂... but yeah, dead issue -- moving on...

and as for u l4e... do not try to be a victim .. u said sorry i said FINE.. whatever, u should know by now it don't matter to me... why bringing it up?! and no need to bow, u might get kicked in ur face... LMFAO
