yeah but sometimes after so much heartache and disappointment one never truly knows whether its even worth the risk or gamble. I for one have gambled more than I needed to and ended up burned. now I take it as it comes. if it comes it comes but I WILL NOT welcome it w/ open arms.....there has to be a fight for it

Whether it's financial freedom, a skinner body, a healthier mind, inner peace, love.....

Nobody is handed any of that stuff on a platter. If they are, it is fake.

tis is true which is why I have worked so hard to get what I have today in life. my home, my car, my success @ work. and yes even the better of myself in physical appearance (lost 8lbs already!!!!) but love is just not a battle worth fighting for me right now. 😀 but I'm OK w/ it
 
Ohh girl! Congrats on the weight loss!

as for the love battle, when it is right, you'll feel like fighting again.

Well let's see, Love is a gamble. We take chances with a particular person we find ourselves getting involved with. I feel, personally, marriage is a gamble. Although we know the person more than we did when we met, marriage is a gamble. We don't know how long our marriage will last because to be married takes work, a lot of love, honesty, faith, compromises, etc. Open communication is the key to it.

AMEN SISTAH! *applauds family feud style* I for one was married once and my gamble ended w/ me in the ruins, but hey u live and learn and things could always be worse.........
 
no doubt........marriage is something that should not be taken lightly and well needless to say for me my partner wasn't all there for me when it came to them vows.....LMFAO Q COME MIERDA FUI!

Ya know I have to say, hearing that "everything happens for a reason" line is starting to get to me. So I believe LMG is right in what she says & for that, I have only a few regrets & my regrets are only that I actually ended up hurting people & that wasn't cool.

For example, I was married & had 3 kids. Obviously that relationsip resulted in my coming "out" cause I wasn't happy because I wasn't straight. However, I can't say that I regret my marriage because I have 3 beautiful boys & my ex-husband is one of my best friends til this day.

So ummm yes mama, you were right (as usual) :lol
