tarp: u can send the cd back to SPG for an exchange, they had pressed a bad batch at the time, and apparently have corrected the problem since then.

Ok but why is that when you buy the "freestyle heaven box set" volume 4 does not include "what you did to me" like the cd that is not included in the box set :confused

Hey guys,
I'm not blaming only people that download for freestyle being as underground as it is. Like I said there are many elements in why freestyle is not as popular as it used to be. Downloading does contribute though. As for c.d's being highly priced, a lot of them are now dropping in price, hip hop included. Its not the record label that prices the c.d's its the music store, you can also bargain shop for c.d's too. For example for who ever was at the Docks on the 3d knows that the return of planet freestyle c.d was being sold for $10.00, I don't think $10.00 is a lot for that c.d. If you just look around for the best prices you will eventually find one. Don't get my posts confused I'm not blaming it only on downloads but like I said it is an element, sometimes its all the little things that count.

Thanks for all the support!!!

When I used to go to all the 103 events I used to get all those cds for $10...clubs and events are an amazing place to find current cds for cheap I do agree Dimi...but just yesterday I went to buy the Invasion 3 cd and that cd, Freestyle Heaven 5 and Stevie B's new cd were all between 18.99-20.99 at HMV that is rediculous if you ask me those are not imports they should be way cheaper in price...I went to Music World and found the Invasion 3 cd for a dollar cheaper...another thing that makes you wonder...Downloading is stealing (unless the song is not available anywhere else) but the prices for these cds are also robbery...no 2 wrongs don't make a right but it's something to think about

Actually in Canada, it is perfectly legal to make copies of music for your own personal use. Selling the copies is what is illegal.

Not sure about Canada, but in the U.S., the labels control the price to an extent. The record store makes a specific profit margin on the CDs but the wholesale price is what affects the retail price.

Well it doesn't really matter who's fault it is tarp...it's stupid to pay more for cds that are from within the GTA like you can get American and even some European cds for the same price or cheaper then some SPG/Ti Amo cds and when the cds are older then forget it...I ain't a bout to pay 27.99 for freestyle heaven vol 2 you know what I mean

is that american or canadian funds...cuz if it's american it worx out to the same canadian price lol

that's intersting...now i know who to talk to when i want cds lol 😛

Well if the summit does happen...these are some good issues that we should talk about
