Reality Finally sinks in

I just read the thread on Safires last performance. I have heard rumors for quite some time of her giving up performing as a Freestyle artist, I guess as a fan of her's and of Freestyle I stubbornly dismissed them as only rumors. To me Safire represents one of the true Freestyle Icons. I guess I always hoped that this Genre would someday get back on track and we would hear greats like Safire, Nyasia, Cynthia, TKA, Stevie B and many other heat up the air waves once again, but when Nyasia confirmed that this would be safire's last performance as a Freestle artist and she would retire from Freestyle I have to admit the light at the end of the tunnel just got a whole lot dimmer to my eyes, and reality has just delt me a devistating blow. As a Safire fan I wish her and her family all the best of luck in all her new ventures and I will continue to be her fan and support any type of Genre she chooses to follow. She is and always will be an amazing artist. As a Freestyle fan I will miss her.🙁

Hey Ted I know what you mean, as far as Safire goes..But trust me when I tell you that her new stuff is just as great if not Better then her freestyle. her new stuff shows you just how diversified this woman really is, I was blown away just listening to demos of some of them. You will not dissapointed ted, no true Safire fans will be dissapointed.😉

As long as I have Wilma's original Acetate and Test Pressing of "Let Me Be The One" I'm straight. Wilma do your thing girl cause you aint missing nothing by not performing at all these KTU events. Freestyle is far from what it used to be. I know you remember the show in the Bronx that Sal A did at the Kingsbridge Armory back in the day. By the way; I run into that knuckle head Carlos Rogers all the time.😀
