I have been in the same spell on collecting alot of rare music...you can find alot on ebay or half.com...One cd that i recommed is KennyFreestle...has a great sound all around.......as for Chris Diaz, I have seen some cd's of his out...im not sure if he is working on anything new...Leo Deleon, is working with Danny Damien...they are working on a new album "Ascension" that might be release in "03"..From what he told me "03" will be a good year..they have some projects geared up...
 
I wish that when compilations are release of older material that they would put on alot of rare ones. Instead you always see "Funky little beat" or "Spring Love". I know there are more but it would be nice to see something like "latin lover" by De La Mor, "I wanna Know" - Ale, "It's the Music" - Trinere, "Boy toy" - Tia, "Don't go away" - Jeanette and so on.
 
i guess we all have our own opinions...but i honestly would like for these tracks to hit mainstream and reach commercial success...if more people hear it more people will support it..this is great music and it can be enjoyed by millions if given the chance..ive gotten a couple of people who used to diss freestyle to actually call me up to find out which artists they should look up and what songs to get....
 
Yeah it is really hard to find some of the artists you mentioned. I have my freestyle collection in my computer, over 1200 diffrent freestyle songs. I got most of the rare ones from Napster.

Believe me I have everything backed up.When people hear alot of this old rare freestyle. They all want my music. This one guy wanted to pay me 50.00 for all of it. I was like you are crazy.😀
 
Here's a suggestion...
how about an area here on CF.. that will let us dowload these "rare" songs. new or old.. i appreciate freestyle... I have crates full of 12 inch vinyl going back to the late 80's & now MOST of it is on CD.

there were some artists you mentioned that I don't know.. perhaps they weren't available where i was buying...LOL

i am not suggesting the download to avoid buying them.. I just don't know if the stuff you're talking about is still available..
