hey nya. boy this is a sticky situation. i wouldnt lower myself cause it's not worth it. i would tell her that i am fine without her help and if your borther stills wants to help you, i would tell him never mind but if he insists then i would tell him to speak with his wife cause you dont need the headache.

yes, Liz is right. I wanted to insert that also. I know they say "blood is thicker than water" but sometimes it doesnt work out that way.

Im not trying to use my family as an example but I had seen between me, my sister and brother, we always seem to side with our spouse and not a sibling. its sad but thats they way it goes in my family.🙁

First find out if she offered help to be nice and then something came up and she couldn't follow thru(altho she should've told you she couldn't help you straight up). IF she offered just to make herself look 'good' in front of the family and wasn't planning on helping you at all then cut her off(as long as it doesn't get inbetween you and your bro) and don't give any explainations as to why.
Stand back and let her crumble down on her own and then have a few laughs on her.
Then again, your man has it covered, just let him handle it, I think that's the best choice :crap ! lol
