Did Lydia Lee Love have any other song other than "Dont Take Your Love Away" or was that her only one?? I cant imagine why someone so talented would have had only one freestyle hit!!

WOW, I actually remember that song... .I agree, she has a great voice.

It's so amazing how someone with such talent can drop off the face of the earth and not sing again.

sh*t, if I could sing, I'd be singing all the time (as I do now, but that's just for me and my kids in the car (which they wish I'd stop, I"m sure)). :lol

Seriously, I guess it can be frustrating, especially for a freestyle artist to not get as much recognition as these young teeny boopers that are singing all over the place on TV and places like that.

=)
Much love to Freestyle Artists!!!

I love that song too.
When Cynthia had an online chat when she released "Thinking About You" I asked her what's the favourite freestyle song? and she said this one. She also said her favourite her own songs are "Like A Star" or "Change On Me" she said can't choose between these two.

Sorry for not knowing anything about Lydia.

I know that Judy Torres is also a big fan of Lydia's...in fact, Lydia called her up 2 weeks ago during the Sunday night Freestyle-Free-For-All. She is living in Las Vegas now. Dont Take Your Love Away is definitely one of the best freestyle songs ever!!!! Now that I found you, dont take you love away from meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yes she did. The other song was called "I Do Love You" and she is listed on the record as Lydia Lee (no Love). It came out in 1991 on Moon Roof Records, 4 years after her first song. She performed at Blossoms a few months ago and I brought both records for her to sign. She was suprised to see the "I Do Love You". She said she really didn't like the production on it. It wasn't a bad song though.
