Listening this week to the commercials this week for Beatstock, they're no longer mentioning Johnny O's name as one of the performers, but they have added Lil Suzy and Fascination. So anyone know what's up? Is he still performing or not? Cause if not then I wanna turn in my tix. LOL Kidding on that...I'll still go, but I'm gonna be pissed. You know how I am when it comes to Johnny.

well, i didnt hear the newest line-up but I spoke to Johnny O & as far as he knows, hes still in it. Perhaps you heard the advertisement for the "freestyle guests" for the next few weeks that are supposed to go the station for interviews. They did not mention Johnny O (hes not in the NY area, yet) but they did mention LIL SUZY.
 
No it was a commercial for the lineup for Beatstock, and when they mentioned they freestyle acts, they mentioned all but Johnny O. And I know Khia dropped out and they don't mention her name anymore, so now I'm freaking out about not hearing Johnny's name mentioned. Last time I heard the Beatstock commercial was a little more than a half hour ago.

DreamGirl, i just spoke to a rep at KTU and they said he is indeed performing but they had to drop a few names to add some new ones on. 🙂
 
They said they are still in negotiations. It wont help to call and complain. I love the way they gave me one story this morning and another this evening!

Well I really hope something works out cause my whole reason for going to Beatstock was because of that and the hope that him and Cynthia would do my song. Yeah I know it won't help to complain to KTU. Well, if ya hear anything, good or bad, lemme know! I'm still going either way.

ER, no need to do that. I am in steady contact with KTU and Johnny on a daily basis. I gave the answer already for now. CLUB GIRL has no idea whats going on unless it came from me.
 
call and complain, tell them that they were advertising jo and now if he doesnt go you want your money back!!! it might help
 
Toni, I tried that (under an alias, of course) and they said it was not necassary because they were still in negotiations with him.

but it doesnt hurt to try!!!
