Just so you all know, my previous post (concerning Tony Moran's studio gear) was meant for educational and inspirational purposes, not as a knock on anyone else's studio(s). I hope you all understood it this way.
hey Orgntr1 If i had hits like tony's then maybe i would have some better stuff. How can u even compare our studios? I am happy with what I got. I had nothing when i put out my first 3 comps. now i have something to call my own.
Willie, no matter what he has, you still have the sh!t! You see what I have & I am just a deejay. I hope to have what you have after a few compilations. I will be releasing two 12" records & a full-length cd this summer. I hope that at least gets me one new piece of equipment!
A little bit of education for those who aspire to become producers. Remember it's not the plane but the pilot that gets you where you want to go. Sometimes less is more. Those of us who don't have as much gear as Tony Moran just have to work a little harder with the little we do have.
