Ok *Ahem Ahem*
In My View,This Has Been Said Before I Think, When Freestyle Events And Concerts Are Organized What Do You See. Maybe Out Of All Of Em there Will Be 5 Teenagers And The Rest are A Bunch Of Old Dudes With Beer Belly's Reminicing. Back In The Days You Had The Whole Club Jam Packed With Kids Loving Freestyle. Kids Outside Dancing In The Street 2 Thier Car Systems Pumpin Freestyle. Now? You'll Be Lucky If You Find 1 Kid In The Street Even Considering Pumping It.
There Is 2 Much Freestyle Being Put Out And Not Enough Time Being Taken 2 Make The Songs. Look At How Many Songs Are Comming Out That No One Knows About. Look How Many Of Them Actually Give You Chills When You Listen 2 Them.
Us On This Board DEAD LOVE Freestyle...And Were Not Gonna Change. But How Much Longer Are We Going 2 Be Pumping It? What,Another 10 Maybe 20 Years? Were Gonna Be 50 Years Old Pumpin Freestyle Meanwhile Our Kids Are Gonna Be Pumpin Rap. The Main Focus Was And Has 2 Always Be The Teenagers And That market. Cuz 10 Years Down The Line They Will Be Where We Are Now.

Exaxtly Elear.. Thats why I am all for setting up teen parties, and thinking about the future. Party promoters hate teen parties because teens cant buy drinks.. so they dont make money..

But let's figure something out.

im not a teen but i just wanted to say i dont drink and i still have fun so teens go party without drinkin and still have fun but thats just me i cant drink because of medical problems

Yo Elear I hear what your saying. Im a teenager my self it's hard to find any people my age that listen to freestyle. Even my own friends make fun of me cause I listen to freestyle so much.😡 It's true something does have to be done.

Yo thats the same probelm out here in the West Ese!!

Kids are the ones calling the radio station, and just about the only ones requesting Freestyle artist, Yet they cant get in to see there artist live 🙁 THAT SUX BIG ONES !!!!

*Getting Into His Thinking Mode* Ahhhhhhhhhh MY HEAD........AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DAMN MY HEAD IS KILLIN ME NOW!!!!!! 😡

Its A Damn Shame Huh Freak....*Knodding Head*...Watch When My Next Song Drops Kid...Don't Even Expect The Prgressive Sh*t...Expect RAW Feelings And Hardcore Beats And Lyrics...Comming From A Real Freestyle Fan/Artist...Just Watch Man...

Not Sure Of An Exact Date....But Some Time In July 😉

I Agree, Cause Im A Teen Also And My Friends Look At Me Weird when I Listen To Freestyle Songs And Hard To Find Another kid My Age That Listens To Freestyle Only Know 3 Kids My Age That Listens to Freestyle, And It Sucks Cause When Theres A Freestyle Event Or Something Its Always In A Club Where I Cant Get In And That Gets Me Mad...

The problem is that new freestyle is not getting radio play on a major commercial radio station. No one knows that there is new freestyle being produced. What happens is that everyone is getting tired of listening to the same freestyle records over and over on the radio stations. The only people who really know about freestyle artist are people who heard these records when they were new. Remeber, it is like disco music. It is less likely to see a younger person at a concert where a disco artist is perfoming because they really don't know who these artist are and they weren't exposed to this kind of music. If we want to recapture new young fans, we have to bring in GOOD, new freestyle music by calling up commercial dance radio stations and demand to listen to new freestyle. This will help to open up a new market where record companies will begin to generate profits from this music, which will lead to marketing strategies such as maknig music videos and creating a category for freestyle music at the Grammys. Almost every song that gets on Billboard Magazine gets a video and you know that it is getting radio play and selling like crazy. Why can't we have a freestyle song charted on Billboard? There are plenty of fans. We have to forget about the old, create the good and the new and demand radio play. If everyone in this club would demand these things, I guarantee freestyle concerts will be filled with new faces. Teenagers follow what is in.

Ugh...This Subject With new Skool Always Gets Thrown In...But Its Ok....Ur New 2 The Board...Im Gonna Tell u Like This. From A Freestyle Artist's Point Of View:
It's All Politics My man...U got The Money Ur Gettin Payed...Plain And Simple. And Johnny Budz And Jack G Might Get Pissed And Fire Back At Me For Saying That But They Know its True. Also The Fact U have Garbage Freestyle That Dominates Freestyle.
Basically 2 Prove My Point Of Having The Money Gets U played. Look At KTU's Playlist. Do Those Songs Have Any Talent? Maybe Some But Most Are So Fu**in Cheesy And More Than Half Of KTU Listeners Change The Station Cuz Of Em.
Why Doesn't Freestyle Get Played Instead? Why Are Those Cheesy Songs Being Played Over And Over And Fu**in Over?
MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND MY MAN.....

😱 Elear I Was Sayin The Samething They ALWAYS Play That Tired Freestyle They NEVER Play Any Good Freestyle Thats Why I Dont Listen To KTU Freestyle Cause Its All Wack To Me, Play The Same Songs Every Saturday And Sunday Night, Just A Different Order...

Tony......Ur Right Man.......LMAOOOOOOO I Swear 2 God U Are......But You Know What? It's Not Up To Johnny Budz Nor Judy What Gets Played And What Doesn't.
* I Would Love 2 Diss On This Guy,But I Wont Cuz I Will Get Booted From the Board * But...Frankie BLUE Does Everything. He's The Director Behind All The Sh*t They Play.
Unless U Convince Him With Some Lucchi...Freestyle Is Stayin Where It Is......Anyone Will Tell U The Same

THROGGS NECK??? HOW U DOIN NEIGHBOR...HAHAHA.....But Im An Albanese....Hard 2 Believe Huh...1st Albo Freestyle Singer Thank U Very Much 😛

For Elear

Money is definetely not an issue because most freestyle labels don't have the money to pay off radio stations. If that were true, new freestyle would be played everyday on major commercial radio stations. I do agree with you hawever as an artist an a trained and educated musician, I might add, that the freestyle industry is putting out a lot of new garbage. That's why radio keeps on playing the same old songs because new freestyle fails to capture the feeling and intesity of the golden days of freestyle. This music is about capturing the audiences through beats with love themes that are suppose to be well put together. It is not about old school or new school, it is about fools who put together freestyle records believing they are going to be the ones to bring it back, and the fact is it is wack. Let's put together some good tracks, recapture the airwaves and the fans. We have to bring back to the world the days when freestyle records braught butterflies to our stomach, not a stomach ache. Now that my man is the only true solution.

I hear ya Man LOUD and CLEAR. But It Is The Money....I Know From First Hand. And 2nd. Look At The New Freestyle. George Lamond Got Played. So Did Rockell...On Heavy Rotation...And Cynthia...They Are On ROBBINS ENT...They Have Money...Its All A Bunch Of B.S....I Can't Waste Time Anymore With This Sh*t....Im Doing What I Know And Do Best And Thats Freestyle...If People Wanna !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Around And Be Greedy? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Them...

All Robbins Entertainment has is good distribution, which is through BMG. They got some radio play but album sales weren't that great. If they did get more radio play, which leads to making money, that means George Lamond would still be singing freestyle which is his first love, not salsa. Cynthia, which is an excellent artist would also have another album out. The only one who did get another album was Rockell, because her sound was newer, fresher which led to radio play, lots of performances and new fans. She is an example that freestyle can get new fans if it is promoted the right way. It is just unfortunate that she didn't take advantage of the opportunity, let it get to her head, and lost a lot of fans which is the reason why record sales declined and radio play went down the tubes.

You seem to be missing my point. I love the fact that they are playing new freestyle in these mix shows, but it doesn't give the opportunity to see and decide for themselves who are the good artists and the bad because they are not seen on an individual basis. Not all new freestyle is garbage, but if you listen to freestyle compilations, there might be one or two good songs on it and the rest are cheaply produced so how can you tell who can be a successful artist and who can't if they are being marketed in the same place at the same time. In other words, what song is really selling the compilation. If there is a compilation that has a Synthia Figueroa song that I really like and I really don't enjoy the other tracks, why should I be forced to buy these other tracks or listen to a mix show just to listen to one song I enjoy. All of these things are what are killing the freestyle industry. I give Rockell credit for what she has done but she has to take advantage of this opportunity. Besides, a lot of people don't really care who sang a song first, all they care about is who made it a hit.
