Canadian Freestyle used to be the bomb in the mid 90s when it had a more old school sound. Once the Euro/Trance sounds started to make their way into freestyle in the late 90s, it started to become cheesy and the producers became lazy reusing the same Planet Rock beat.

Thus, Canadian Freestyle after 1997/98 = CRAP!
