I HAVE A DILEMA, I AM OLD SCHOOL, AND NOW TRYING TO GIVE NEW SCHOOL A CHANCE, MY PROBLEM IS THAT I DON'T KNOW ANY NEW SCHOOL ARTISTS OR SONGS. SO IF YOU CAN PLEASE LIST ALL OF YOUR FAVORITE NEW SCHOOL ARTISTS AND SONGS I WOULD GREATLEY APPRECIATE IT!!!!

I have a dilema too. 🙂 Im an old school freak and for good reason (they paved the way for my happiness lol) but Im intrigued in finding out new artists and their songs. So for those hardcore New School fans, please post away! I want to buy more freestyle cds!!

some people argue wether or not its really freestyle.... i say it is, its the NewSchool flavor of freestyle... we can't deny that freestyle has evolved....

Id have to say Rockell and Angelina's first albums were pretty hot ones to have...

Vocal Image is pretty good. I love their song "Why". Amante "Let's Get It On". There's always Cynthia's most recent album which is almost completely freestyle.
 
Angelina, Brissa, Chris Diaz, Julissa, Tez2plez: These are acts from Texas and Cali-Although Angelina has moved to Houston along with the label-Upstairs Records and lets see. . . Randy Galaxy has a bunch in Cali.
 
You will enjoy listening to Toronto's Elissa, Freda, maybe Alexia Phillips, and some others as well. go to ginobeatscentral.com where there's a lot of new-skool freestyle to listen to.

as for CD's, they sell some of Tony Monaco's compilations, but I'm not so sure about in the States. They're pretty cool new-skool CDs tho.

Julissa's i must go on is phat! also linda low dancing in my heart. daisey and willie v have a duet take me far away really good. all these tracks are on the galaxy freestyle dance compilation vol 2. it has all these tracks plus a few more good ones. good cd i suggest everyone 2 peep it!
