I am tired of seeing some people deliberately posting in the wrong forum.. or
working some magic in their posting to borderline on our rules. Or playing
'stupid.' Therefore anyone doing it will be suspended for a week..and maybe
banned for life. We work hard to have an organized site. CF is not like
those other freestyle sites that are like jungles or ghettos and I will be dammed
if it gets treated like such by anyone.

I am tired of seeing some people deliberately posting in the wrong forum

well blame it on ur mods jack cuz u got the ones here that think that just bcuz u gave them the privilege of lookin after the site while u not around that they should be lacking in whatever their duties are cuz for one they be deleting threads like crazy and thats why u got members who get piss off and post it in a different forum now u have mods here that be in charge of 2, 3 even 4 forums at the same time now what does that tell u that some of them aint being alert

cuz i ask myself whats the purpose of having the same mod in 2 different forum? i find that to be stupid forreal and theres no need for that u got members here who im sure would like to become a mod and who would put more into this site as much as the mods do so jack if ur upset over this then what u need to do is get on the mods case and set them str8 cuz i think its not only the members fault but the mods as well for not notifying them at first and tellin them where there should post the threads so if this is the case that u gonna start banning ppl then be fair by banning the member and the mod together so that way both would learn their lesson thats just my opinion

LMFAO!

Do you honestly think that the members he's referrin to have not been told? :rolleyes

Wow! LOL @ Cool Al.

Not for nothing, but he's totally right.

That's the whole point of having Moderators. A Moderator is supposed to regulate what goes in the site and keep things in check.

So, it's like a Class System. There's the Administrator, the Moderators, then there's us, the Troopers.

The Moderators DO do their job, but some members get all pissy and start crying once their threads are moved or deleted.

But Jack put it out there, so there should be no excuses now.

My question is, how do we know that what we're posting is in the wrong forum? From what I've seen, everything seems to be pretty accurate thus far.

However, people need to use the Private Message option a lil' more, rather than posting a thread like "Carlitos Way, Call Me Next Friday" in the Shout Outs section.

Whoa! Banning is harsh. But you're the administrator. I agree with Cool Al. He made some very good points. Moderators don't get paid for moderating here but they volunteered. And of course, members have to be more conscious of where they post. But I think I have even posted twice in the wrong forum and it wasn't intentional.

🙁 I think jack is just speaking his mind & it shouldnt be taken the wrong way

I don't know it makes sense but I agree somewhat with Al & Boop...maybe some members don't know they're posting there thread in the wrong forum so banning them or whatever is kinda extreme.

Ok, I'm not known for biting my tongue, so I'm not going to start now, BUT I am going to try to say this as calmly as possible. 🙂

First off, WTF with attacking and accusing the mods? Whenever a thread is closed, or deleted, there's is always a reason behind it. We don't sit here and say "gee it's a slow day, let me piss off a member and go screw with threads." When a post does get closed or moved, the mod who did it PM's the member and explains. If a thread is in the wrong forum, when a mod moves it, they again PM the member and tell them which forum it belongs in.

Second, as Krystal had said, some members constantly post in the wrong forum, and they have been told on many occasions, by either the mod or Jack, and keep doing it anyway. Honestly, the structure and layout is pretty clear cut and it is pretty obvious where posts should go. I do understand that we are only human, and yes occassionally mistakes ARE made, but when it becomes a constant thing, it makes you wonder.
