Actually RHOQ, is correct, Paradise told me yesterday that it is the loop that RHOQ mentioned. to me it all sounds like Planet Rock, but I was wrong, so yeah "THE" Planet Rock sample for "Take me in your arms" was the first one to use Planet Rock... Thanks Rhoq and Paradise..and thanks Pete for making me curious enough to find out about my own song!...LOLOL

:biggrin

For what it's worth, I would have to say that this version of "Now & Forever" is one of the better "Planet Rock" style mixes ever featured on a 12" single. For it's time, it was unique - since "Planet Rock" was the exception and not the rule.

My how things have changed since then. :lol

you rang?..lolol :dlook :switch

Damn, I swear we're talking about 2 different versions. The version I have uses the Jive 122 beat through out the verses and the Planet Rock loop during the breaks.

And Rhoq, I didn't say sample, I said beat.

This anwers your Thread question:

Debbie Deb - When I Hear Music

That was 1983! Planet Rock beat!

I have this mp3 from my original 12" record! :yeah :director
I've never heard that version either.... if it exists I'd like to hear it!!! 🙂

Nyasia, i gotta admitt..ive been listening to Freestyle since 85..havent stopped since..but i think you were the only artist to ever put out an aswesome 12" ..you took Now and Forever and gave it 6 different sounds instead of the typical club/radio/dub mixes..just off topic though..have you ever thought of working with Carlos Berrios on future remixes? I think this guy is totally amazing and if anyone can do it..i think hes one guy who can take Freestyle to whole new levels...especially when it comes to reestyle techno remixes..

Sorry guys, I couldn't find the mp3. I got the 12" record and it will take me a little while to convert it to mp3, because i don't have the turntables with me.

I'll let you guys know if I find it. If anybody else heard this song before, please verify that it was the first one to use the planet Rock beat from 1983.
