For those of you in the Phila,South Jersey area. I heard a commercial on Q102 that club Polyester is having old school freestyle fridays every friday. At first I thought it was hip pop,but they played LiL Suzy,Lissette Melendez,Coro in the back ground.
Poly Esthers San Jose, CA just did Johnny O and Safire (with Malyssa and Christina Marie) and coming up for them is Lil Suzy and Christina June 21st.
Sounds like that franchise is starting to pick up freestyle -- I think FREESTYLE MOM mentioned this Club ages ago on this board for peeps to start checking out. Glad to see someone is paying attention. Nice to hear Philly may be the next market to get a show(s)....Now we need to see some Philly support!

Interesting...Maybe this means that 96.5 "The Point" will start playing Freestyle since they broadcast from Polyesters for their Dance Parties over the weekends...Usually they will only play "SPRING LOVE" by Stevie B, "LET THE MUSIC PLAY" by Shannon, "DIAMOND GIRL" by Nice-N-Wild and "SILENT MORNING" by Noel...The rest of it being '70's, '80's and '90's disco/dance/pop

we had a POLYESTHERS on long island for a while. it was DISCO night!
the concept of this place was "retro" but I am hoping they will involve some new along with the "classics."

Polyesthers was big here in Philly then it died down real fast, but i think if they do a freestyle friday,it will be great, I'm definately going. 😀

freestyle is back in philly now we need more concerts with Johnny o Ashley etc to keep it going .

You have to take things one step at a time...Give them a month or 2 to see how the Freestyle nights are doing before the take a gamble at bringing in a live performance...
