wow I never woulda thought... :confused I love Corina & all her songs, but Summertime Summertime is an original 1986 classic belonging to Nocera (in my opinion!!!!!!!) 🙂

I voted for Corina-for some reason,I just liked her version more.I'm surprised some of you have not heard it.The video was played alot and the song was in constant rotation on the radio.

Uh..........there was a video?! How did I miss that? Ironically, I have this compilation that I made. I've been listening to it since I left home, rode the bus to the library to use the internet, and it's funny that Corina "summertime summertime" just happened to come ojn as I logged into this site. I did not plan it that way, but I just happened to notice what I was listening to as I started typing. (Too many ither things on my mind so it took me a while to notice.) Can't remember what I was listening to previously though, Li'l Suzy, or Jossette.......... I don't even know - that is how much my mind is busy now! but I have to go. M:G is on now, by the way. The small changes Corina made to the song didint sit right with me for some reason otherwise it wasnt bad.. She looked OFF DA HOOOK in the video though... I think thats the best she's looked in any of her videos... (yeah, OUT OF CONTROL too...lol)

I've been hearing Corina a lot recently here in Phoenix. "Temptation" is being played a lot in the mix shows on Mega 104.3/99.3 Arizona's Jammin' R&B & More here in Phoenix, and THE Gay 104.7 kiss f.m. plays it sometimes on their Freaky Friday morning show, where they go back in the day every Friday from 8:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. It was also played on Energy 92.7/101.1 Arizona's Dance Authority. Once again I am listening to another compilation I have made - but this time Corina is not on it. Right now "is it love" by Science is playing. "always dreamin'" (bass mix) by Sharyn, "why do you treat me badly" by Brissa "running" by S.F. Spanish Fly, "the way you move" by Syreeta, "do you miss me", "release me", "a little bit of ecstacy", and "a-bailar" by Rey Guell are just a few songs that I have on there. Currently playing, "next to me" by Jesika, and shortly after "set-u-free", "50 ways to leave your lover" by Plummet.

I will be making a bass compilation (not booty bass, just rhythmic bass with singing vocals and little or no rap) and Corina will be on that along with "runaway" by Li'l Suzy, "my first night" by IMx, "when will I see you smile again" by Ricky Bell, "friday" by SupaQuad, "doctor doctor" (party mix) by Gemini, "only love" by Nadine Renee, "waiting for you" by InoJ, and "where do you go when you need love" by Mon A Q, "freak it" by Lathaun, "nice & slow" (bass mix) by Usher.

this is impossible to choose! you shoulds put a third option "undecided" because i like both very much! Nocera version is more bright and tropical great for locking, or even uprock/breaking like stuff. While Corina slower tempo version low frequency bass is great for pure popping. Plus i like the So So Def Atlanta sound of Jermaine Dupri. Theyre both excellent, I cant choose. Life is hard! but maybe ima bit to Corina because i love electro funk... :whateva

Nocera is my pick. Didnt really hear Corina play anywhere here in the east coast. I travel back and forth to ct., mass, jersey and new york and never heard it play anywhere or seen the video played as well. I acutally heard the song on the net. Yes Nocera's vocals are.... well not too good but that song was the bomb back in the day. I wasnt feeling the corina remake too much at all. she does sing it better but thats not what makes the song for me in this case.

i heard the song (corina)when i bought the dma cd comp!! i loved it!! but i also loved nocera original!!! it is a toss up for me! dead even!!
