In Battle of the songs I picked a great Freestyle song, which both versions I love, definitly a tough one."REAL LOVE" released by LIL'SUZY from her "Back To Dance" cd and "REAL LOVE" by LIL'JOHANNA from her maxi-single, which also contains a spanish version.POLL runs for 6 days, :rasta
 
Though I like suzy's version, I have to go with Johanna. J had a stronger vocal, more feeling, more swing. Well that's just my opinion. I like both version though.
 
Lil Suzy here, her vocals to me had more emotion and realness to it, while Lil Johanna tried too hard, even though the spanish version sounds tight also!
 
I picked Lil Suzy,.. she has a much better voice but both versions are very well done.

I have to agree with Alex 100%, which is why I voted for LIL'JOHANNA.Even,Toward the end of the song, she put alot of emotion.That is the key to a great Freestyle song, it makes you feel-no matter how the vocals are.

You are right. Lil suzy is more emotional..i like the mix of that song on the high power record compliations.
 
damn, i voted for the wrong one

I meant to vote for lil suzy but clicked the wrong box. I love the spanish english version but lil suzy did it first and I loved it. never did understand why johanna did a remake so soon after lil suzy did it. never made sense to me, and why did she pick on lil suzy, she did a couple of other songs if I remember correct.

LIL'JOHANNA was only 13 years old,I don't think she was picking on no one.Tony DR.DIT Garcia of HIGH POWER RECORDS, released LIL'JOHANNA's version.LIL'SUZY never released a maxi-single for the song, she left HIGH POWER for METROPOLITAN, a long time later TONY releases LIL'JOHANNA's "Take Me In Your Arms AGAIN" his newest discovery artist, soon releases "REAL LOVE" and LIL"JOHANNA kicks butt on that song, such emotion on that song, as well as "TIL' THE END OF TIME" which both artists also did an excellent job with.
 
I heard Lil Suzy's version first...and I like it better 🙂 One of my fave freestyle songs actually:listen

So true, I would so be at least in your 20's :hyes By than you might understand what love actually is and not confuse it with lust.
