KTU played Expose Point Of No Return today, the '87 remake. I never hear the original '85 version on radio come to think of it...

Anyways... which version do you guys prefer? The '85 original or the '87 remake?

My preferrence in the '85 original.

Sietz

i like the remake EMJAY did of it though i think its from the 90s

The original SUCKED!!! lol

The second Expose line-up did 1000x better. The original beat was the same but a little more raw and almost twice as long tho. But the vocals were embarrasing. It would be kewl if there was a version with the "good Expose'" vocals over the "bad Expose'" beat. lol

"Come Go With Me" will always be my favorite tho.

The original was better musically
The '87 version had better vocals and made the record a classic

I have to say that while I love both versions, the 85 original version was the one that got me hooked on Expose to begin with, so I have to lean in that direction.

I liked them both, but I would have to go with 85.It was one of the first songs that got me into Freestyle.

Definitely the '87 version with Jeanette on vocals. I love the extended nine minute mix and wish they would put that on CD compilations instead of the '85 mix. I feel that Jeanette put more emotion in the song than the original did. Gioia's version of this song, which I have seen her perform was awesome!

i didnt know there was an 85/87 version but i do remember one version having really cheap vocals and one with slightly better ones, i guess its the 87 version thats better (but emjay's version has coolest of all vocals)
