but can we get rid of the

120 second timer on sending pm's

as well as

the text limit????

I believe that in the past, we've had people who would harass other members with the pm feature, with multiple, rapid fire, pm's. The time limit and text limit discourages that.

I guess forums put a time limit due to spamming. It gives the Admin time to ban the user before he continues inflicting spam to others. I think thats the reason.

I asked exactly the same thing about 2½ years ago... :nahnah
