Tonight on ESPN tonight will be the premire of Playmakers. It's a drama about a fictional Football League that talks about the typical on and off field lives of pro players. Prepare to see lots of Steriods, drug use and hookers in the show.😉

WHAT DOES ESPN STAND FOR?
It doesn't stand for anything, but the story is this...When ESPN started in 1979 we were the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (thus, ESPN). However, the full name was dropped in February 1985 when the company adopted a new corporate name --ESPN, Inc.--and a new logo. We are a subsidiary of ABC, Inc., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Co. The Hearst Corporation has a 20 percent interest in ESPN. 😉

But I thought it stand for "Entertainment Sport ??????? Network". :confused

I loved the show. Even though there were uncencored F Bombs and strippers. But, hey that's the way and pro athletes off court, field life is. Simple as that!!! I think kids should watch this show, to learn the reason why pro athletes should not be role models!!
