Hello Freestylers! Once again it’s Swins Fontenelle from “Freestyle Universe” on Facebook.com with a picture-share and a brief note. I’m excited to share the new pics taken recently at Sidetracks “Home of Freestyle Fridays” in Sunnyside, Queens where Willie Valentin and his Artistik Records crew packed the place for their record release party. Despite the fact that I was trying to recover from what was either food poisoning or a severe stomach virus I just had to be there and I got some good shots of all the artists, including: George Anthony, Stephanie Marie, Pure Trend, Quadlibet, Jennifer Jimenez, Mike Anthony, Freeze, Poze, Nathan, Jessica Fabus, Phillip Anthony, Synthia Figueroa and the man himself: Willie Valentin. I’m sending out two open invitations to everyone in the freestyle world. The first is to come and be a party of Freestyle Universe on Facebook.com where it’s all about freestyle and supporting all of the artists, producers, labels, venues, websites and radio stations. You can visit that wall there and find links on how to purchase some of the very latest freestyle record releases, find out about freestyle events and much more. My second invitation is for everyone to join me on Friday, February 19th for my big 40th birthday bash at Sidetracks: 45-08 Queens Blvd @ 46th Street in Sunnyside, Queens, New York. Performing that evening will be an all female lineup with freestyle mega-star: Lisette Melendez, freestyle favorite: Jaidie, the talented: Andrea Martin and the hot new face in freestyle: Jessica Marin!! It’s going to be an exciting evening with the freestyle community coming together in unity.
As I sign out; I’d like to remind all of you in the New York City area that I will be returning to the Aurelia Show on Time Warner Cable with the Freestyle Universe and my special guests: Tazmania Records and the wonderful: Christine Turner on Thursday, February 18th. It will be broadcast live at 8:00 pm and I hope that you’ll tune in! Ciao for now!
