This thursday on ABC Primetime, Pete Rose will be interviewed by Charles Goodson. He will talk about his new book in which he confesses that he did bet on baseball.

Question is, why now is he finally admitting to betting on baseball?

LOL......very true. I was about to say the same thing. What's the big deal?!

They see gambling on sports that you are actively playing in worst because you could have a say on who's going to win etc. It's like a stockbroker doing inside trading.

Drugs are not as bad in their eyes.

dont know why should they care what he dose with his money but baseball is crazy like that and they will let the bad ones in the hall when the good ones gotta stay out its not like he killed anyone .

It has nothing to do with the money. If he wasn't actively in the sport they woulndn't care. But he was playing so he could lose a game just to win the bet.

thats messed uo if drugs are not as bad as putting money up . were do u think some of the players money go's now and the most they get is a 10 game without pay . not a lifetime ban like pete rose .

Exactly my point. You bet against your team because you could have your team lose. Hence make a profit. It's like a stockbroker having inside knowledge.
